Background
This Superman has the standard Superman Backstory. Superman was born on the planet Krypton. Krypton was in danger of exploding due to internal imbalances. His father Jor-el sent him to Earth and he was found by the Kents, who raised him as one of their own. He eventually moved to Metropolis where he became a new reporter for the Daily Planet.

The first movie deals with him preventing Lex Luthor from sinking half of the US into the ocean.
The second movie has him fight 3 survivors from Krypton led by a general named Zod. In the 3rd movie his enemy is a rich would-be dictator named Ross Webset who wants to take over the world using computer technology. Then in the 4th movie Superman wants to dismantle nuclear weapons around the world, and fights an artificial creature called Nuclear ma.
The movie series was given a soft reboot with “Superman returns” in the 2000s. That movie involves Superman returning to Earth after having left for 5 years in search of Krypton. In that movie Superman stops another scheme of Lex’s that involves using Krypton tech to create a massive new landmass on Earth. He also finds out that he had a baby with Lois, named Jason.
