Similar to most incarnations of Superman, the DCEU Superman was sent to Earth from the planet Krypton moments before the planet imploded by his birth father Jor-El
MOS 2:37 Clark is born. It’s stated that Krypton’s core is imploding and that this is because its inhabitants harvested it for energy
He’s later found and raised by Martha and John Kent, who urge him to keep his alien heritage and the superpowers secret. Superman later finds digital backups of Jor-EL who explains to him his origin and encourages him to use those powers for good.
