History
Long ago, God flooded the Earth to wash away the sinners and start a new. Promising to not smite every creature again, God needed something to keep them in check. Thus the Spirits of Vengeance were born. One such spirit was known as Zarathos. He and the other Spirits of Vengeance were under the control of the Archangel Zadkiel, who had his own plans for nefarious purposes.
Enter the Kale Family line. Beginning with Noble Kale, he became the first Spirit of Vengeance of the Kale bloodline. Believing that he did not belong to neither Heaven or Hell, Noble waits in the void as the first born child of every generation becomes the next Ghost Rider. Naomi Kale feared for her children and tried her best to prevent this curse. While she was successful in ensuring her first born would not get the Noble Spirit, he was still fated to become a Spirit of Vengeance.
Enter Johnny Blaze. Despite his mother abandoning her and his father dying in a stunt gone horribly wrong, Johnny grew up to be considered one of the best Stuntmen in the world. When he found out his father figure (Crash Simpson) had cancer, he did the only thing he could think of: make a deal with the Devil. The Demon that answered was Mephisto and for the price of his soul, he would make sure Crash would not die by Cancer.
Johnny makes the deal, but it turns out Mephisto tricked him. He made sure Crash died by a stunt accident instead and was ready to claim Johnny’s soul. Roxanne (his girlfriend) found out about this and prayed to Heaven to stop this. So Zadkiel decided to answer the call and place the Spirit of Vengeance Zarathos into the Stuntman. Seeing his plans corrupted, Mephisto decides to manipulate Johnny into thinking this is a curse.
Thinking its a Curse, Johnny tries to find a way to either contain the Spirit of Vengeance or aim its direction towards Justice. Yet despite his best efforts, the doubts in his mind and the manipulation of others makes Zarathos more agitated and seeking freedom. Johnny eventually found a way to rid himself of the Spirit of Vengeance, but after the 90s came and went he found himself once more possessing Zarathos and becoming the Ghost Rider.
Eventually, he learns to keep balance between each other, escape the grasp of hell, defeated the Devil 665 times, found out he’s one of many Ghost Riders, learns about the fact he’s a Black Ops agent for God and manage to take over Hell when Mephisto tried to make a casino on Earth.
Arsenal
Weapons
Hellfire Shotgun - Something he learned to enjoy when he lost the Ghost Rider’s Powers, he has a Shotgun that can shoot out Hellfire. While he can infuse other weapons with Hellfire, he likes Shotguns.
Mystic Chains - Seeing his brother use these effectively, when he was in Hell he learned how to not only use them effectively but also able to summon them.
Hellfire - These are his biggest source of offense. More about what he can do below, but Hellfire is capable of either burning the flesh or just burn the soul. Its whatever the Ghost Rider desires.

Hell Cycle - Be it one created by his Hellfire or a regular motorcycle enhanced by Hellfire, the Ghost Rider’s ride of choice is a Motorcycle. But in truth, any vehicle could be used.
Powers and Abilities
Offensive
Sin Manipulation: The Ghost Rider is capable of taking the sins away from a person. When they do, those sins go to Hell under Mephisto's possession while the body becomes basically Lobotomized.
Infernal Pyrokinesis: The Ghost Rider can create hellfire to do many things. The following as such.
Hellfire Infusion: His ability to channel hellfire allows him to imbue objects and vehicles by choice with his mystical element.
Hellfire Projection: He can spew the fire from his eyes, mouth, hands and chest, including channeling the fire from his body into his weapons such as his shotgun.
Hellfire Forgery: He is able to construct various things such as walls, weapons and his motorcycle. Though he mostly uses it to create Motorcycles
Hellfire Telekinesis: He can also control hellfire infused objects through his mind.
Hellfire Attacks: In addition to projecting and infusing hellfire, he can perform a number of attacks. He can create hellfire balls, spew out a massive wave and unleash omnidirectional explosions that are incredibly powerful, capable of bringing great pain to the Hulk.
Hell Firestorm: He is able to rain down a firestorm of hellfire directly towards the surrounding enemies resulting to devastating destruction.
Soul Manipulation: Basically, he can attack and down right destroy the soul.
Mystical Chain Projection: These chains are capable of growing in length, cut through many things and under the hands of other Riders turn into other weapons. He can control their movements in his mind.
Penance Stare: Arguably the Ghost Rider's most powerful weapon, when a person is under its effects, the victim sees and feels every bit of pain they have ever inflicted in their entire life.
Skilled Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Although he's had no proper training, Blaze is a formidable hand to hand combatant and has become quite adept at using his powers in combat situations.
Defensive
Regenerative Healing Factor: While only certain weapons can truly put him down, any other kind of weapon do not do lasting damage to him. If a limb is lost or his head explodes, he can just grow a new one.
Misc
Ghost Rider Transformation: While it originally only happens at night or the presence of evil, Johnny can become the Ghost Rider as long as both sides agree to.
Superhuman Capabilities: Basically increased Strength, Stamina, Durability, and all the other stats to superhuman levels.
Soul Reading: Because of being the Spirit of Vengeance, he can see who they are and what they did. This is how he determines who deserves punishment or not.
Supernatural Awareness: Ghost Rider possesses an extrasensory ability that allows him to detect any supernatural occurrences around him.
Teleportation: By using portals, the Ghost Rider can travel to various locations, and even Hell, whenever he needs to. Possibly Heaven too, but he has his issues.
Demon Magic Manipulation: Thanks to Johnny's previous knowledge and their time in Hell, they have knowledge of certain demonic energies and spells. They don't use it a lot, just for information purposes.
Self-Size Alteration: The Ghost Rider has shown the ability to increase his size. He once did this to reverse someone's shrinking powers. Another he used this to increase his size to fight Thor.
Expert Stunt Rider: Blaze is an expert motorcycle stunt rider. Those skills are seen with the Ghost Rider as well.

Weakness
Heavenly Weapons: Any weapon crafted from Heaven or blessed can mutilate the Ghost Rider. This is the only way to decapitate a Spirit of Vengeance.
Host Separation: Though killing with a Heavenly weapons is one way, another way to defeat the Ghost Rider is to separate the Spirit away from the host. This makes the host return to be mortal but the Spirit will remain in its current state until it finds a new body to inhabit.
