 All Might

Background

• Name: Toshinori Yagi

• Height: 2.20 meters | 7’2”

• Weight: 255 kilograms | 562.179 lbs.

• Age: Refuses to tell anyone

• Backstory: In the world of My Hero Academia, nearly every person in the world is born with a unique superpower, called a Quirk. Toshinori was born without one of these Quirks, but he managed to receive one from Nana Shimura, holder of One For All. This Quirk is one of the first to exist, and it has been passed on for generations. As the eighth holder of OFA, Toshinori started studying at U.A., Japan’s most prestigious superhero academy, where he studied under the Pro Hero Gran Torino. Eventually, Toshinori came to be known as All Might, promising to become a symbol of peace throughout the world. During All Might’s training, his master was killed by All For One, one of the first superpowered villains in history. Stricken by grief, he swore to get his revenge on All For One. Years later, he managed to defeat his archenemy and gave him wounds that disfigured him, but his body took severe damage as well. Fast forward to the present, where All Might is the number 1 Pro Hero and a bona fide Symbol of Peace, but he can only use his powers for a limited time. Despite this, he still manages to keep on “heroing” enough to inspire young heroes, like Izuku Midoriya, a quirkless fanboy of his. After Izuku learned about his weaknesses and proved himself to be a worthy hero despite having no powers, All Might chose him as his disciple and passed One For All onto him. Currently, All Might has lost all of his strength and can no longer act as a hero, but he still works at U.A. as a teacher.

Powers & Abilities

• One For All: All Might’s Quirk. The basis of the Quirk is the ability to transfer itself to another person. The effect of possessing the OFA Quirk is having tremendous strength, speed, durability, and stamina (All examples can be found in the sections below). His punches can produce massive gusts of wind and even alter the weather on a large scale. His jumps double as flight due to how high and fast they are.

• Fighting Style + Moveset: All Might’s fighting style consists of standard brawler techniques that incorporate wrestling techniques, such as lariats or suplexes. He focuses more on raw strength than skill. He has a series of attacks named after North American locations.

• Texas Smash: A direct hook that produces a massive gust of wind due to the strength behind it.

• Detroit Smash: Another direct punch that hits hard enough to disperse liquids, put out street-wide fires, cause massive cyclones, and even cause storms.

• Missouri Smash: A karate chop that he used to one-shot a dick-shaped monster.

• Carolina Smash: A cross chop used on Noumu.

• “Plus Ultra”: A barrage of 300 punches (allegedly) that ends with a very strong punch. This attack launched Noumu out of the USJ dome with enough force to cause a small-scale tremor and split a cloud.

• New Hampshire Smash: A body slam propelled by the force of a simple punch performed in midair.

• Oklahoma Smash: A Zangief-style spinning lariat that causes a tornado. It managed to shake several Noumus off of him.

• United States of Smash: A punch that uses every single ounce of All Might’s strength. It can produce a tornado that towers over buildings and is capable of casually spinning large chunks of buildings around. After using this move, he can no longer use One For All.

• California Smash: Yet another punch, but preceded by a spinning maneuver.

Strength & Attack Potency

• Punched a slime monster hard enough to disperse its whole body.

• Capable of performing leaps that almost count as flight.

• Dispersed the sludge villain again with a Detroit Smash.

• The wind pressure from the Detroit Smash caused a rainstorm.

• Casually crushed a fridge with one hand.

• Using Missouri Smash, All Might one-shots some dick-shaped monster.

• His suplex lifted up a huge cloud of dust.

• Punched Noumu out of the USJ dome.

• Can move around wearing cuffs that weigh half of his weight (Given that he weighs 255 kg, they would weigh 127.5 kg)

• Causing a massive gust of wind that breaks through some structures with just one punch. In the anime, this breaks through a metallic bridge.

• Punched Bakugo so hard that he vomited on the spot. The punch sent him flying accross a long street.

Scaling

• Izuku Midoriya and other U.A. pupils: He is All Might’s disciple. Both possess the same Quirk. Izuku is significantly weaker than All Might at the moment, but he has several good feats that can be scaled to AM, just none that are higher than his own. At the moment, none of the students are strong enough to match All Might, so any of their feats can be scaled to him.

• Izuku destroys a building-sized robot with a single punch.

• Izuku and Shoto destroyed a large mass of cement.

• Tetsutetsu intercepts bullets from a revolver.

• Edge Shot: A Pro Hero ranked significantly lower than him. He’s stated to be faster than sound.

• All For One: A perfect match for All Might’s strength. Roughly equal in strength. He caused an explosion that spanned a whole island, which is the attack that killed Nana Shimura.

• Gigantomachia: One of All For One’s subordinates. He and All Might have not fought, but Gigantomachia is supposed to be weaker than AFO, so it’s not far fetched to claim that All Might is stronger than him. He put a hole in a mountain with his attacks.

Weaknesses

• At his modern peak, has a time limit of 3 hours. This time limit gets shorter the more he exerts himself.

• Has a wound in his lower abdomen that serves as a weak spot.

• His techniques and powers lack variety.
