History

  • Five thousand years ago, the Mutant to be known as Apocalypse was born as part of the Akkaba tribe. Due to his look, he was left alone to die in the desert. But Baal of the Crimson Sands found the boy and raised him as his son. Under the name En Sabah Nur, he would be raised as part of the Crimson Sands but still be feared and hated by his fellow tribesmen. But one thing they all taught him, especially his father who loved him, was that only the strong deserved to live. After proving his manhood, his father revealed that great things are destined for him. En Sabah vowed revenge on the Pharaoh for the death of his father. After a series of events that saw the only woman he loved look at him in disgust, his powers activated and he announced the name he would be known as: Apocalypse. And from then on, works on forcing humanity to evolve with the ideal of the strong living and the weak to be left for dead.

  • When the X-Men and all Mutants seceded from the rest of Humanity, Apocalypse was offered a spot on the council and accepted. It was during this time he was confronted with his wife in Genesis and his first children. After competing in a tournament that would shaped numerous worlds, Apocalypse left the Mutants to be reunited with his wife and children once more.

Weakness

  • Regenerative Limitations - Apocalypse can be reborn with only a drop of blood remaining. It just needs more blood around it to reform.

  • Holds himself back - A problem with Apocalypse is he tends to hold himself back. Specifically with mutants. He wants to give them the chance to prove their strength. With battles against Thor and Hulk, as well as having Celestial Technology, should make him stronger.
