History

  • Before Danny was born, Wendell Rand was a kid trained by the last Iron Fist Orson Randall. Seeing the power, Wendell desired to become the next Iron Fist. After proving himself and creating the hate in Davos' heart, Wendell tried to defeat Shou-Lao but had second doubts before truly facing it. He soon left K'un-Lun and created a business. Obsessed with the city, Wendell swore to return. But in his last act as a father and wife, he promised to bring them along as well as his business partner to the Tibet mountains. 


  • Sadly, his business partner had other plans. He killed Danny’s father and left the two alone in the mountain. Seeing a bridge, Danny’s mother lost her wife protecting her son from wolves. K'un-Lun found him and decided to raise him. With training under the Thunderer, he completed the ritual and became the next Iron Fist. But vengeance was on his mind so the next time the bridge was open, he decided to return to earth to get vengeance. He found his father’s killer but couldn’t go through with it. Someone else did and framed him.


  • After clearing his name, Danny Rand has decided to use his power for good as well as learn the other half of his heritage as an earthling. He currently runs his business inherited from his father, help people in various ways as both Danny Rand and Iron Fist and is part of many teams including the Heroes for Hire, the Defenders and the Avengers.
