Name: The Predator
Species: Yautja (Ya-OOT-ja)
Age: Any given Predator can be hundreds of years old
Height: Average Predator Hunter’s are two and a half meters tall
Nicknames: The Devil, Rakshasa
In South America, 1987, an elite special forces group would adventure into the Guatemalan jungle, with only the team’s leader by the name of Dutch Schaefer surviving the mission. In his debrief, the survivor would remark coming into contact with an extraterrestrial being that hunted his men down like prey, with technology so advanced that none of them stood a chance. Only by pure chance after finding that this alien’s vision relied on Infrared was the man capable of covering his body heat with mud, catching this predator by surprise. The last remaining survivor of the group would describe in his brief that the being was a ruthless killer and a natural born hunter.
Of course, this was not the first time these beings would have visited Earth. Dozens of light years away from Earth, past the outer rings of the Zeta 2 Reticuli system, an advanced and tribal species known as the Yautja resides, known for their advanced technology and their tribal and nomadic lifestyle. For countless generations, the Yautja have visited planet Earth, treating Earth as an ancient hunting preserve with some of their most valuable prey, humans.
For the Yautja, it is tradition to engage in hunts, because while they are technologically advanced, it is because of those technological advancements that this alien species chooses to keep the beast alive inside by constantly engaging in what they refer to as “the hunt.” To the Yautja, the Hunt is more than just a sport, but a way of life.
The Predator’s are known for following strict trials and oblations during their hunts. They do not hunt harmless prey, or prey that is too weak to defend itself. This also goes for children and pregnant women. If their prey is already caught, they will usually opt to spare their life, as there is no sport in killing something that the hunter itself did not hunt. Only in times of extreme heat and conflict do the Predator’s come to engage in their hunts. With the amount of tech at their disposal, it could be argued that they could wipe out civilization as we know it, though they explicitly choose not to, as that ruins the core reason for the hunt. All Predators allow for their prey to be weaponized or while they are in the midst of combat to allow for fairer fights, as dictated by their code of the hunt. As a result, a Predator will only attack those who represent a danger to others, often going after the planet’s most dangerous individual’s, like gangster’s, soldiers or anyone with a weapon that is actively trying to hurt another person.
If a Predator were to fail to kill their prey, the consequences are oftentimes brutal. A typical Predator Hunter is often considered a blooded warrior, after engaging in a ritualistic hunt for “Hard Meat” (Xenomorphs) as an un-bloooded youngling and marking them with a symbol of their kill. But if a Blooded Predator fails to kill its prey, it will become a Bad Blood, which would open up the Yautja to a plethora of punishments. If one’s own clan does not decide a punishment fitting of the crime, a Predator would often choose to takes it’s own life in any way possible, committing ritualistic suicide either by self-destructing through its wrist technology (Which often is done to also take out itself with its prey) or by stabbing themselves to death. Bad Blood Predator’s have also been known to be crucified, beaten to death, or banished on remote alien planets to fend for themselves.
If a Predator’s prey manages to kill a Predator, that Predator’s clan will grant them a weapon of some kind to mark their victory.
Equipment
Given that the Predator is an unstoppable hunter, it has plenty of gadgets and technology readily available on any of its hunts.
A shoulder mounted cannon that can rapid fire explosive bolts of plasma of variable power. It’s heating tracking targeting system lets it target enemies on every side of the Predator. It can fire automatically in the direction it's being shot at, and the Predator has been known to have two shoulder cannons when getting serious.
Can fire plasma, fire plasma, and dark plasma. Dark plasma does damage in proportion to a target's mass.
Bio-Helmet
Bio-Helmet’s help to focus the infrared dependent eye sight of the Predator. It has atmospheric tubing set up to emulate its methane laden atmosphere on its own planet Yautja Prime. This helps it filter out any toxic air and enable it to breathe properly. If it’s helmet breaks, it has a spare breathing mask to help alleviate its breathing conditions. These helmets can translate other languages and replicate others voices or sounds. Each Helmet comes with several vision types -
Infrared/Thermal Vision: Helps Focus the Predator’s thermal dependent vision. This vision mode also allows the Predator to scan the target's armor and physical structure for weaknesses, as well as see vibrations coming from the opponent's heart. It can also see footprints.
X-Ray Vision: Capable of seeing through opponents
UV Vision: Helps the Predator see UV light and insulated foes
Night Vision: Helps Predators see in the dark
Neuro Vision: Tunes in on the neuro electrical activity of the human brain and its pheromone signature. This can also be used to indicate the emotion of the prey.
-Green if they’re non-threatening
-Flashing Green if panicking
-Yellow if potentially dangerous
-Red if aggressive
-Flashing red if attacking
Tech Vision: Helps look at energy sources nearby, including mechanical enemies and electronic security systems. It can also look for fluctuating energy signatures, such as when a bomb is present. This can also help to analyze a target’s weaponry and technological equipment, or any cybernetic enhancements.
Combistick
A telescopic quarterstaff, capable of knocking several foes off their feet at once. Combisticks are retractable and can also shoot spears. These staffs are capable of deflecting plasma blasts and are plasma forged.
Wrist Blades
Crafted as a mark of respect for experienced hunters, these wrist blades can match the Smart disc in cutting power and tear effortlessly through steel and other metals. These weapons have been known to be plasma forged. They can also be shot from the wrist gauntlet as an added projectile.
Camouflage
The Predator’s cloaking can manipulate ambient light to make itself invisible and blend in with its surroundings. If it somehow gets wet, the camouflage will wear off or begin to shut down.
Smart Disc
Smart discs vibrate at subsonic frequencies, giving it unmatched cutting power. It has a targeting matrix that allows it to aim up to four enemies at once. This can be piloted via the wrist computer.
This weapon fires a net lined with metal laces that tightens around a person hard enough to cut the skin.
Spear Gun
Spearguns can fire long-range telescopic spears which can take off a man's head or pin someone to a wall. Fully upgraded spear guns can hold up to 30 spears at once.
An ancient Yautja blade passed down from elders to aid young bloods during their hunts.
Ceremonial bladed war club used by Yautja who prefer close melee combat.
Yautja Bow
A powerful, collapsible bow made from some of the rarest material on Yautja prime. Can slow targets.
Described as being a molecular chainsaw, these nanovibronic disks can tear through hardened composite armors.
Blazer is a shoulder mounted weapon that is hotter than most stars. It also has tactical supremacy armor which has substantial defenses against kinetic, fire and acid damage. All military grade Predator’s have this armor.
Double sided energy Glaive that burns white hot and cuts through enemy armor.
Cannot be stopped by conventional matter. The blade leaves wounds filled with seething dark plasma, which causes damage in proportion to the target's mass. This weapon is very heavy, however. According to predator law, anyone can wield this weapon if they have earned the right to.
Audio Decoy
Device that sends out false audio noises to confuse and distract prey
Bear Trap
A proximity based trap that slightly damages and captures prey when tripped. The trap throws up an alert when it gets triggered.
Motion Detector
Throwable device that sticks to surfaces and generates a motion detection field. Prey entering this field triggers an alert and is marked.
Jammer
Has an electric jammer in its wrist gauntlet that can make electric weapons inoperable.
Shock Grenades
Grenades that shock foes. Also capable of shocking trees.
Shock Bolas
Bolas that the Predator can toss to snare and shock humans with.
Essentially the same as the shoulder mounted caster except it’s now a pistol. It can also shoot a multi-shot fractured plasma projectile.
A larger version of the handheld plasmacaster. This weapon is capable of this Giant explosion.
Glaive
A plasma forged glaive with a twin headed polearm meant for slicing enemies with rapid, spinning motions.
Maul
Plasma-forged. A heavy weapon of blades and spikes, with powerful spinning and crushing blows meant to penetrate strong defenses. They can penetrate and throw opponents long distances.
Sonic Trap
These release a burst of multi-spectrum light and subsonic sound waves designed to briefly disrupt the nervous system of the prey without causing permanent damage. This will cause the target to stay stunned for an extended period of time.
Fire Bomb
Short-lived incendiary burst of fire meant to consume its targets in flames.
Pulse Mine
Release a microsecond burst of electromagnetic pulses which disrupt electronic systems. They are designed to disable cybernetic or robotic enemies, as well as to disrupt holographic camouflage or cloaking systems.
Plasma Mine
Mines that explode with devastating force, spraying super heated plasma in controlled bursts designed to minimize risk to the user while searing the flesh from the target.
The Predator has drones that are capable of homing in a person's heat signature. Predators also have a drone that can mount onto their shoulder.
This acid is volatile enough to melt Xenomorph skin and dissolve bodies in seconds.
A whip capable of slicing Xenomorphs in half. Acid resistant, and can also be electrified.
A wrist mounted flamethrower.
This armor is meant to specifically counter flamethrower marines. The Predator homeworld has enough radiation to bake most life forms. This Phoenix armor is uniquely resilient to fire, radiation and energy attacks. If struck by energy based weapons it will recharge the armor.
Medicomp
A powerful and versatile first aid kit which lets an injured hunter treat virtually any manner of wound while still on the field. Using the medicomp will heal all damage and stop bleeding. Medicomp requires charges of expendable supplies in order to function. They are basically in limited supply.
Yautja Ship
Yautja ships also have camouflage tech making them invisible to radar grids as seen in the Predators 2018 film. Their ships also come with a self-destruct function that has also been stated to be nuclear which can also be set off by a Predator at any time, while also being able to wipe out entire cities. These ships can blow up entire buildings and have tractor beams. These ships can also shoot down entire space ships.
Abilities
Infrared Vision
The default vision of the Predator is Infrared, meaning that anything with a heat signature will be in complete view of the Predator.
Vocal Mimicry
The vocal cords of the Predator are capable of mimicking human voices.
Super Strength
Predators can effortlessly lift men off their feet and tear spines and skulls off of human bodies.
Experience
Predators can live for hundreds if not thousands of years. A Predator by the name of Hashori in the Incursion novel said each Predator has centuries of experience and history. Another Predator by the name of Scarface from the Concrete Jungle video game lived on a desolate planet for 100 years in solitude. Another elder predator hunted in 1715 and gave the protagonist of the second Predator film one of its prizes 270 years prior. Predators are constantly hunting and constantly getting into fights with other life forms, advanced or bestial.

Can throw its wrist detonator as a projectile bomb
It’s movement through buildings and trees is referred to as Predkour
Weaknesses
Without its Bio-Helmet, the Predator must rely on Infrared to be able to see. If its line of vision is overwhelmed with intense heat, this could leave a Predator blind. The Predator’s Bio-Helmet also has atmospheric tubing, as the Predator is used to breathing in methane laced and heated environments. So after an extended amount of time, it will have difficulty breathing and need to use an emergency extra mask to be able to breathe. It’s shoulder plasma casters, camouflage and smart disc all operate off the same central computer system, meaning that if the Predator uses these gadgets too much it could drain the energy in its armor, making it have to recharge in order to use those devices again.
