Background

An assassin operating in the country of Ostania for the “Garden” organization under the code name “Thorn Princess”. Yor originally took up the work of a killer to support her younger brother Yuri and maintained her “cover” via a fake job at Berlin City Hall.

In the plot of Spy X Family she initially desires to obtain a relationship to keep up her appearance of a normal Ostania citizen. She eventually meets a man named Loid and agrees to marry him after Loid causes a misunderstanding where he claims to be her husband in front of an audience. Unknown to her, Loid and his adoptive daughter Anya, are a world renowned spy and esper respectively. Much of the humor of the series is derived from all members of the family being unaware of each other's double lives while still trying to maintain the appearance of a normal family to the outside world.
