History
Deadpool’s Childhood History is a Mystery. Sometimes his father left him and his abusive mother raised him until he was old enough to leave. Other times she died and his abusive father gets accidentally killed by one of his friends. And one time Loki went straight to his face and said he was his daddy.
But no matter his lineage, he left home to become a soldier for the U.S. Army Special Forces. He had the skills, but was kicked out for not following orders that conflicted with his moral code. This eventually lead him to become a CIA-Sponsored Mercenary assassin.
But somewhere after this, a person named Jack met a person named Wade Wilson with his wife Mercedes. Jack killed Mercedes and assumed to kill the person named Wade Wilson, taking his name and identity. Between Deadpool and T-Ray, they both believe that the other was the person they called Jack.
Cable eventually “fixed” his memories to believe that Deadpool is the real Wade Wilson, but considering how conflicting everything is, I would have to believe that Deadpool was indeed Jack in this story. But for now, Deadpool will be known as Wade Wilson.
He would eventually meet people important to him like Blind Al, the mutant Copycat (currently dead) and Weasel. After finding out he had cancer, he volunteered for the Weapon X program to cure it. Instead, he was placed in a place called Hospice. That is where he would meet Lady Death and form a relationship.
He tried everything he could to die but when Francis decided to take his torturous ways on others, Deadpool found a reason to continue living despite wanting to be with Death: to get rid of Francis once and for all.
And As Deadpool continues to live his life trying to prove he is a good person yet still taking the odd merc job since he still have to pay the bills. Also, he was cursed by Thanos with the curse of life.
Arsenal
Weapons
Katanas: Wade has numerous swords in his collection. Some are made of sharpen steel while others are carbon. One set can be charged with energy form the suit, increasing its cutting potential to be able to slice diamonds. An alternate universe version of him has a sword made of Carbonadium that can nullify healing factor. And considering how often Carbonadium is easily accessed, it is likely he does have one.
Chitauri Hand Canon: A weapon Deadpool carries in case Vetis returns. It is capable of disintegration on a molecular level. It takes out a regenerator known as Madcap for 19 issues.
Disintegration Gun: A weapon he used on a vampire. It is made to disintegrate its target. It only does ¾ of the target and runs on “Wakandan Juice”, so likely vibranium.
Speakers: Speakers specifically made to deal with Symbiotes, using Loud Dubstep.
Time Travel Gun: A gun that hunts down its target and erases them from history. It is unknown how he got it or if he even remembers as thanks to Cable he forgot working for Talbot.
Yo Mamma-Geddon: The ultimate Yo Mama Joke. Yo Mamma-geddon! It reduce a Marine to jelly to never teach again. Caused a girl to rupture her pancreas. Made Hebrew people bite off their own tongues. Makes those who can understand it die within 24 hours due to dehydration from crying. Half of it will make you cry for days.
Misc Weapons: Anything you think a mercenary can get their hands on, Deadpool usually can get. Multiple Types of Guns, Explosives, bladed weapons, etc.
Armors
Deadpool’s Suit: Originally a rejected Spiderman design, it was upgraded by Weasel to be a full body tactical suit. While it does not provide physical protection, it does have a number of pockets made for containing multiple types weaponry. The suit also has two holsters on his back to house his katanas.
Wrist Gauntlets: Sometimes he has wrist gauntlets to protect his wrists from slashing or the case I’ve seen, gunfire.
Equipment
Image Inducer: Deadpool used to have access to an holographic image inducer. With it, he can disguise himself to anyone he wants without having to lose his weaponry or his outfit. He threw it away though due to not wanting to rely on being a different person.
Teleportation Device: A device known for teleportation. He had various ones over the time including a humorous one that explodes if overused.
Items
Puppet Master’s Clay: After a battle with Puppet Master, he had his hands on his “radioactive” clay. By creating a figure with a similar look of the target, Deadpool can control their body’s movements. He last used this on his hamsters he was trying to weaponize.
Fantastic Four Persona Time Travel Device: One time when trying to get help to deal with Vampires, he asked the Fantastic Four for a Time Travel device. I assume ask and not stole.
Cable Collar: A one time item used against Cable to hijack his brain stem and nervous system to make them obey Deadpool. Not sure if it was made specifically for Cable but it was given to Deadpool specifically for him. Does not work on negating telekinesis.
The Continuity Gem: A seventh Infinity Gem Deadpool stole from Thanos that can retcon Marvel’s History. Used it to make Syrin jealous by inviting her to a wedding he created with someone named Genosha. When she died, he decided to throw it away.
Herald Surfboard: He was a Herald for Galactus at one point but got fired. He did get to keep the board which he still uses as seen in Deadpool 2018 #2. It was destroyed in #3
Powers and Abilities
Offensive
Master Martial Artist: He is very good at hand to hand combat. He can go toe to toe with the likes of Wolverine and Taskmaster and even defeat them sometimes in combat, especially Taskmaster.
Master Assassin: Coming with the job, Deadpool is known for the art of assassination. This includes espionage, covert operations, infiltration methods, escape artistry, and marksmanship.
Defensive
Regenerative Healing Factor: A power derived from Wolverine, this allows him to regenerate damaged or destroyed body tissued greater than a normal human. This also extends to being able to have limbs removed from his body and even recover after being liquidated by the Hulk. Unlike Wolverine’s, it got activated when Deadpool found a reason to live. This also gives him Foreign Chemical Resistance and Disease Immunity.
Immortality: This is something separate from regeneration. Before, despite how effective the regen is, if taken enough damage he will legit die. But Thanos cursed him with Life so he can never meet Mistress Death. This is how his regen can fix him when in states that would have ended Wolverine.
Telepathic Immunity: While he can still be affected by Telepathic attacks, those trying to read his mind will find it very confusing.
Possession Resistance: When people try to possess him, either by possessing his body or using voodoo like means, Deadpool has shown being able to be difficult to fully control.
Unpredictability: Deadpool is a difficult opponent to prepare for. Even a cosmic entity who absorbs the minds of entire planets fears doing so would be dangerous to him.
Misc
Physical Enhancement: Deadpool's physical abilities has increased thanks to a combination of his healing factor and his own training. He is capable of lifting two tons, reach speeds of 80 mph and be faster than the eye can follow. He can fight for long periods of times and have amazing agility, flexibility, dexterity, balance, and bodily coordination. He can dodge gunfire and survive blows even without Regen.
Multilingual: He is fluent in Spanish, Japanese, German, and Esperanto.
Medium Awareness: He always knew at some point, but since being transported to the Foundation of Reality, he knows he is a fictional character. While he can make constant references, he can not make major changes to the 4th Wall.
Deadpool and Chimichangas
Cable & Deadpool #13 - This comic says Deadpool does not like Chimichangas.
Deadpool (2013/Vol 3) #27 - This comic says he does. Timeline wise this predates Cable and Deadpool.
Final Thoughts: At one point, he did like Chimichangas. It was his connection to the mutant Copycat (Vanessa), since he recognized her when she was under multiple guises. So his supposed obsession with it was to be connected to her. So when she died, he stopped liking them but does enjoy saying its name. Likely to symbolize that while he didn’t like what happened to her, he won’t really forget her.
Who is Deadpool’s Daddy?
Deadpool (1997) #36 introduced us to Loki being Deadpool’s Father. By the storyline’s end, Loki cursed him to look like a handsome celebrity Thom Cruz (Tom Cruise).
Deadpool (1997) #45 has the cursed lifted when Deadpool inadvertently apologizes to a random person in a bar for eating all the Peanuts. No name is given, so if Loki was lying, maybe the Jack persona is the truth.
Cable & Deadpool #19 showed us a man who looks similar to the one in #45, but he died when Deadpool was a kid.
X-Men Origins: Deadpool, we don’t really get to see his face but we do see a lack of white and an origin that does not have him being military.
Deadpool (2008) #27 has him in black and white, but once again looking similar to the one from 45.
Deadpool (2008) #60 gives us a blonde Mr. Deadpool who does call himself Wilson. He’s in the Military like Cable and Deadpool but not white haired.
Deadpool (2013) #32 sees both Deadpool’s parents alive and well, until they weren’t.
Deadpool (2013) #34 has the last appearance, in a photograph.
Final thoughts: At some point, Deadpool kills his own parents due to Butler’s work on him making him do so. In theory, these were his legit parents and the flashbacks were based on past events that were warped by Butler’s interference (like thinking a friend of his killed his father). Cable messed with his memories, making Deadpool think his name was Wade Wilson and his father looking like the man in the bar, who I believe was Wade Wilson’s father, but not Deadpool’s. This would explain the inconsistency with how he looked as well as the idea that Deadpool was never Wade Wilson. As for Loki, he could have given Deadpool to them, but he could have also been lying. That’s the problem with a Trickster God.
Who is Deadpool?
Deadpool (1997) Issue 32 ended with the reveal that T-Ray was the real Wade Wilson. The issue that followed explained the story: how Deadpool was Jack when he was found by Wade and Mercedes Wilson. How he killed Wade to take his identity and accidentally killed Mercedes, which caused him to grieve and lose himself as Wade Wilson.
Cable & Deadpool #18 has Cable “fixing up” Deadpool’s memories. He called them little holes that he can’t be able to fill. That suggest by doing so, Cable is filling those holes with information he specifically knows about Deadpool, which he knew from the first time they interacted as Wade Wilson..
Cable & Deadpool #39 has Deadpool confronting T-Ray stating Cable fixed his long and short term memory. But T-Ray showed that his magic was indeed real.
Final Thoughts: Honestly, Deadpool’s logic was the most flawed. He was a mercenary before he got the healing factor. Not to mention having memories of his father dying when in truth he unknowingly killed them. Sure, the images showed him wearing the suit, but as Deadpool said both their memories are faulty. And Mercedes, a third party without any issues, did confirm T-Ray being the true Wade Wilson. So Deadpool was not really Wade Wilson.

Reaction Time
Weakness
Mental State: Doe to his healing factor on his brain as well as his 4th Wall Knowledge, he is considered a psychopath.
Cure for Cancer: Deadpool’s healing factor continues to create new cells. This is balanced by the cancer he has that kills cells as fast as the regenerative powers. Without the cancer, those new cells will continue to grow over his body until he explodes.
Similar Minds: Deadpool’s insanity make him an unpredictable opponent for those who expect a straightforward fight. But those of a similar mindset to him (be it 4th Wall Awareness or even Insanity) can fight evenly to him and even beat him.
