Character Analysis: Geo Stellar Aka Starforce Megaman

Also this blog is .......pretty rough. It's just thrown together notes from several years ago(near the Megaman royal) I'm publishing specifically because of a request for them. Expect more spelling errors than usual and less pictures.


Backstory

Geo stelar and Omega-xis

A boy born in the year 22xx. In Geo’s time the world has been changed by the advent of EM technology, a type of electromagnetic wave energy that can be used for everything from communication, making various energy constructs, and managing all your home devices. As a child Geo looked up a lot to his father Kevin Stelar, an astronaut who traveled into space on a station called peace, in hope of making contact with alien species. Unfortunately however the alien species Kevin ended up contacting wasn't exactly friendly, misinterpreting his attempts to contact them as an act of aggression due to the rampant paranoia of their king. His ship was attacked by their forces, and his crew taken hostage.


Thankfully though not all was lost. During the attack Kevin met and created a friendship with one aliens that was charged with keeping him prisoner, Omega-Xis. The two hit it off and when Omega eventually decided to abandon the alien species he was allied with, he turned kevin’s crew into em waves with his powers, and fled towards the source of a signal Kevin sent before his fellow aliens found them out. This signal went to Geo, who Omega subsequently allied with when other being from planet FM came after him, due to having stollen a key to the FM-ian ultimate weapon. Working together they could fuse into an EM form called Megaman, which Geo could use to fight EM based viruses and the FM-ian alien species.


By working together the two managed to repel the assaults. Eventually getting the FM King to stand down via altruism.  THey subsequently when on to protect the earth from other EM based threats, whether originating from earth or from space.


In terms of personality Geo was initially kina of a wimp. But his trials as megaman toughened him up, albeit with him retaining a more meek personality. Omega on the other hand is  a very  rough and tumble trigger happy being, who’s a somewhat tsundere with his relationships with others.



Equipment


Terminals

A series of terminals and personal devices similar to common day smartphones.

The transer, star carrier and hunter VG are all successive devices to each other and are used to manage email, perform video calls, watch tv, and other common functions you would find in any personal device. The star carrier and hunter-vg particularly can also create solid EM wave constructions called real waves and matter waves respectively, including floating holographic screens from which to manage the device from. These devices can be used by normal people to combat electronic EM viruses, by slotting data carrying devices called battle cards into them, to send EM waves toward the viruses in the form of an attack.


Geo’s current terminal is the hunter-vg, which has its own unique function of being able to sense and open up “noise waves”, a sort of EM byproduct that can sometimes make portals in space. It can also be used to manage the attributes of  EM wave beings like Omega, with the hunter-vg specifically denoting him to be similar to that of a EM AI “wizard” program used by the general populace in Star forces storyline.


Navis: The sentient AI programs from the battle network era. They still exist in the star force era, though with much lower capacity for usage. They’re typically maintained on battlecards, and severe specific functions of controlling or driving specific vehicles or mechanical devices.


Matter waves: EM waves manifested i the real world in a tangible form. They’re typically used to create solid constructs like furniture or vehicles in game. Geo has several different constructs at his disposal, including some flying surfboards, an underwater exploration device, a movie projector, and more.

Real waves:The successor to matter waves. They are EM waves manifested in a tangible state, but more perfected and with less obvious contrast to real world objects like matter waves. They are also what allow WIzards, and by extension omega to exist as tangible objects in the 3rd game.



Visualizer

A pair of glasses inherited from geo by his father kelvin. They function as a way to see EM waves and energy signals. Originally they were non-functioning or only had weak EM detection abilities, but during Omega’s initial crash on planet earth into Geo, he caused a power surge in the device that unlocked hidden potential within them. Given Em waves in the star force series appear to be mainly used to transmit signals or for communication, it can probably be assumed the EM spectrum the visualizers covers lands somewhere between microwaves and radio waves in frequency.



Pendent

A keepsake from his father Geo where’s on his chest. It has no functional purpose, but can act as a homing beacon of sorts under specific circumstance.


Special abilities

EM wave change

The ability to fuse with an alien electromagnetic creature known as an EM wave being. Geo typically performs this ability with Omega.Their combined form is called Megaman has the ability to interact with the “wave world” a kind of invisible reality layered on our own made up of EM waves. In the first two games an EM wave change had to be initiated at specific spots where reality and the wave world mixed, called wave holes. However in the anime and in the 3rd game Geo gains the ability to wave change anywhere due to advancements in technology provided by his hunter-vg terminal. The Vg hunter also ends up changing his wave form appearance in comparison to prior games. Geo typically shots out a catchphrase when transforming which is original “EM wave change. Geo stelar on air”, 3rd game this changes to “transcode 003 Megaman, due to his transformation abilities being authenticated by the satellite police via his vg hunter. When wave changed Geo has the ability to see the wave world and most(but not all) spectrums of EM radiation without the use of a visualizer. Geo’s wave form generally can’t be canceled from outside sources, but can become unstable and dissipate if Geo and Omega are undergoing internal turmoil with each other.




EM biology

Invisibility

Em wave beings like Omega and Geo as Megaman are normally invisible to the naked human eye. This isn’t a special ability of any sort, it’s just the natural state  most EM waves their em bodes take, since they the EM waves that comprise if fall outside the spectrum of visible light. The only way to see of track them is by using technology specifically designed to track spikes in radiation(which Omega gives off in the form of something called z waves) or with devices that can see outside the visible light spectrum like Geo’s visualizer. Geo can alter the wavelength of his EM body to make himself visible to normal humans should he choose. Likewise while Geo personally has not done so, various other EM entities has shown it is possible to fight/harm real world entities while invisible from their point of view.

Intangibility

As an EM wave Geo can also become intangible to real world objects, assuming said objects wouldn’t normally have some effect on or ability to prevent EM waves crossing through them. He uses this ability mainly for mobility, as well as to prevent himself from taking damage from being smashed into objects if an opponent throws or catapults him in some direction. Similar to his invisibility Geo can also change his wave frequency to allow himself to interact with normal matter in a tangible state. It should be noted that said invisibility is not linked to his intangibility, likewise that given Geo has to consciously change his frequency, real world objects will not automatically pass through him if his isn’t in the correct wave state to do so, something that has caused him to take fall or recoil damage in the past.

Wave frequency teleportation

An ability that Geo and several others have displayed in the anime. By utilizing a change in frequency Geo can teleport. Geo typically uses this ability for avoiding immediately oncoming attacks. His range is unclear, though harp note seems to be capable of going almost anywhere on the planet with a similar ability in the anime(albeit this might be an ability specific to her).

Data manipulation

Similar to the navi’s of the battle network era, Geo and Omega can also control machines from the inside or manipulate their data. This is  typically achieved by entering  the “comp space” or “cyber core” of a given machine, using a EM receiver in an object as a way to get in. Some miscellaneous things they’ve done is writing messages in personal devices, controlling cards, erasing info from a computers databank, and looking at a person's personal files.


Wave road usage

As an EM being Geo has the ability to use “wave roads” as a form of transportation. Wave roads are essentially transmitted signals of EM energy that geo can walk or ride on to get from place to place. Including areas spread around the planet, in the planet's atmosphere or even in segments of space. In the games travel on a wave road is specific and defined, and requires Geo to follow specific pathways to get to his destination, as well as sometimes enter wave roads from specific points giving off an em signal. However in the anime Geo can pretty much jump off and between wave roads to use them as he pleases..


Em wave transmogrification

An ability a few wave beings, particularly Omega has. Wave beings give off a powerful radiation called Z-waves. These Z-waves if emitted in a high enough concentration can cause a human body or object to lose mass, and be transformed into a living EM wave. As an EM wave, living beings don’t need to eat, breath, can travel through the wave world, and in apparently have most of the powers of contemporary em beings. Some wave beings can also temporarily bring normal humans into digital spaces, assuming the humans where near them when they also entered.


Hypnosis immunity

Em wave beings and wave fusions are immune to some forms of mental and emotional manipulation. Particularly Geo as megaman is immune to various types of EM waves emitted by the FM-ians in the anime that can invoke sleep or uncontrollable bouts of laughter and dizziness.

Misc em powers


Brother band

Brother band is essentially an advanced form of facebook used to link together personal profiles and data between multiple people on their personal devices. It was invented by the previous series protag Lan Hikari as an adult, and is described as some incomprehensible friendship force based on EM waves. In addition to the profile sharing previously mentioned, people who form brother bands can also send out messages or signals to loved ones, even over vast distances of space. As well as purify the thoughts and emotions of their recipients, and provide them energy in the form of something called “link power”. This link power can be utilized by geo while in his Megaman form to gain added boosts of powers in critical situations, or to equip added support programs called ability waves.

Anyway ability waves are essentially support programs that give Geo new abilities or alter the properties of his previous ones. They can be equipped by utilizing link power in game, with the amount of link power you have setting the cap for which or how many you can use at once. Some generic effects of ability waves include increasing Hp, starting fights with an Aura/barrier, super armor, being able to reflect attacks, as well as hover in mid air or avoid damage from under laden panels with an ability called float/air shoes. Many ability waves can also change properties of Geo’s charge shots, making some of them fan out in different ways, having elemental properties like wood and ice, or  creating panels of poison, ice, grass, or electricity where they hit.

Diagonal lock/Side lock: Increases the range of the mega attack lock on.


Flash body: Grants immunity to blinding and confusion


Gravity body: Immunity towards gravity 


Paralyze body: immunity to paralysis


Freeze body: Immunity to being frozen


Bubble body: Immunity to being bubbled


Anti-damage: Allows Geo to perform a faint when attacked, avoiding damage


Undershirt: If Geo takes a lethal hit, his HP is simply reduced to 1 instead of being deleted.


Geo also manages one of his transformation systems with an ability wave. Called the Ace or joker program.



Armor

Shield

An energy shield that Geo can project for a few seconds at a time. It covers him from the front and can generally protect him against most attacks from his series.


Arsenal

Megabuster

The standard energy canon common to all versions of the Megaman character. Geo’s version is actually comprised of the head of omega-axis, and charges automatically when not in use. It can also be modified with support items called mega weapons or wizard equips, changing attributes of power, speed and charging ability. Mega weapons/Wizard equips can also add some peripheral effects like causing bugs in an opponent that lowers HP, blinding a foe, paralyzing them, trapping them in bubbles, confusing them, and freezing them with charge shots. Finally the megabuster  has a lock on function which can be used to perform, a quick dash/teleport in front of an opponent followed by an attack using certain battle cards called the mega attack .


Battle cards

The successors to the battleships found in the battle network series. Battle cards store weapons, supportive or defensive data that can be sent as an EM wave to effect EM based viruses and opponents. They were eventually designed to be used in conjunction with the various terminal devices in the star force series, like the star carrier or VG hunter. However they can also be used by Geo directly while in is wave form. This was typically done in the anime by having Omega absorb or assimilate the data associated with them by swallowing them with geo’s megabuster hand, with an ability called predation. However in the games and starting with the question of the star carrier in the anime, he can simply manage a set of pre-loaded cards in the device to call forth at anytime. The star carrier in the anime also specifically could match his most effective cards against viruses analyzed on a databank of the device. At the end of fights data can be collected from fallen opponents and transcribed onto new cards for usage.



Like with battle chips, battle cards in game have very specific rules regulating when and what cards can be used at a given time. Though this is a gameplay mechanic however, and various adaptations like the anime and manga have shown geo as capable of using whatever cards he wants if the situation calls for it.



Cannon/buster

Cannon,Plus cannon,heavy cannon, Impact cannon: Standard battle cards that turn the megabuster into large energy canons.



Plasma gun 1/2/3/X: Turns the megabuster into a cannon that shoots out and electricity based projectile.


Air spread 1/2/3/X:Turns the Megabuster into a cannon that shoots out a powerful burst of air that covers a wide area. 


Gatling gun 1/2/3: Turns the megabuster into a large gatling gun that shoots out energy projectiles.


Ghost pulse 1/2/3: Shoots a wide powerful sound wave, that has a chance of confusing opponents it hits temporarily.


Fire bazooka 1/2/3: A fire/lave based energy cannon attack.

Tail burner 1/2/3: A canon that exudes a giant flamethrower. Covers a long reaching area.


Wide wave 1/2/3/X: A canon that creates a powerful thin slice of projectile water energy.



Chain bubble 1/2/3:A canon water projectile shot that encases opponents in floating bubbles for a few seconds, leaving them helpless.


Blue ink, green ink, purple ink: various ink based projectile attacks. When they hit they turn adjacent ground areas to ice, grass or poison respectively.


Black ink: An ink based projectile attack the blinds the opponents it hits, or those near them.



Ice burst,Green burst,Poison burst: A canon based attack that sucks up adjacent panels/ground with ice, grass or poison and shoots it back at an opponent as a projectile.

Dance fire 1/2/3/X: A flamethrower attack that extends a few feat forward from Geo’s position.


Needle 1/2/3:Shoots large needles at an opponent as an attack.


Pulse noise:a powerful sound based attack that emanates from the buster. Can cause an hp steadily lowering bug in the opponent.


Delta flame: A powerful fire based cannon attack


Skull arrow 1/2/3/X: Shoots arrows that have a gravity status effect on opponents from behind.


Mech flame 1/2/3/X: A flamethrower attack that turns terrain hit into holes.


Mad fire 1/2/3/X: A fireball projectile attack


Pollen shot 1/2/3/X: shoots a pollen projectile, that causes the panic status effect in opponent's. Can auto hit enemies if they are standing on grass like terrain.


Jungle storm, Snow storm,Poison storm: Buster attacks that use the power of wood, ice and poison terrain to deal damage.



Sword/Handheld


Sword, long sword, wide sword: Various energy swords of normal, long and wide lengths. Geo can use more than one at a time, by applying one to both his arms at once.


Blazing edge, Tidal edge, Strike edge, Arbo edge, Elec slash, wood slash, fire slash : Various energy swords that have fire, water, electric or wood elementality infused in them. Tidal edge can make large splashes of water in the anime.

Break saber/X: A powerful energy blade/drill like weapon. Can pierce through normal shields in game.

Juno hammer 1/2/3: A giant hammer weapon attack that hits slightly ahead of Geo.


Brave sword 1/2/3: A powerful sword attack, that can pierce through minor shields.


Big axe 1/2/3, Great axe: A large swinging axe used for melee attacks.


Flame Axe: A large fire elemental axe.


Berserk sword 1/2/3: A set of short swords used for a series of rapid slashes.


Dark sword: A Cyber sword infused with dark energy. Based on the popular dark chip from the battle network era.


Scythe 1/2/3/X: A scythe weapon used for melee attacks.



Buki 1/2/3/X: A giant forward hammer attack.


Sonic sword: A more powerful variation of the cybersword. 


Muramasa: A evil looking sword that gains strength in proportion to the amount of damage the Geo has taken.


Bushido 1/2/3/X: A powerful samurai like sword used for melee attacks.



Drill arm 1/2/3/X: A giant fucking drill that burrows through opponents.


Windy attack 1/2/3/X:  A wind gust emanated from a fan, which damages opponents and removes their barriers or auras. Can also cause a gravity status effect.


Mop lance 1/2/3: Creates an impaling wood element spear


Sword fighter 1/2/3/X: A powerful sword used for multiple slashes.


Physical


Stun knuckle:An electricity based punching attack. Can stun foes on contact.


Poison knuckle: A poison based punching attack.


Freeze knuckle: A ice based punching attack. In the anime can freeze objects or large sections of ground solid when it makes contact

Destroy upper: A powerful uppercut attack that nullifies some(not all) customizable programs. Particularly most of the body one's Geo uses.

Bomb/thrown weapons

Heat ball 1/2/3/X, mini grenade 1/2/3: Various kinds of thrown energy bombs.


Power bomb 1/2/3: A larger more powerful variant of explosive thrown bomb.


Fire ring 1/2/3: a giant propelled ring of fire. It moves towards and opponent and then back to geo like a yo-yo.


Heat grenade, Ice grenade, Wood grenade, elec grenade: Various grenades that hit over a wide area and with various elemental attributes like fire, ice, wood and electricity. It can also create various terrain changes like grass and ice depending on the grenade.


Kilo bomb 1/2/3/X: A virus like entity that lobs a bomb at an opponent if it gets hit by a fire attack.


Buzzsaw 1/2/3/X: Throws a large circular buzz saw like object that rolls over foes.



Cloud shot 1/2/3: Throws a large cloud that bursts in an explosion of electricity on contact with an opponent.


Boo hat: Throws a giant hat that moves around a battlefield slicing opponents.


Acorn bomb 1/2/3/X: Tosses an acorn like bomb that turns the terrain to grass.


Shock waves/traveling


Ground wave 1/2/3/X: a powerful ground laden shockwaves that damages opponents that get hit by it.


Big drop 1/2/3/X: Lobs a giant statue into that air that crashes down onto opponent, cracking terrain beneath it.


Shuriken 1/2/3/X: Summons a shuriken projectile that maneuvers itself around the battlefield.


Homing/lock on


Radar missile 1/2/3,destroy missile: A card that summons a series of missiles from the sky that lock onto and plow into opponents.


Sticky rain 1/2/3: summons clouds  that create a damaging rain below where they are summoned.


Stealth laser 1/2/3/X: A laser attack that targets the opponent with the highest HP.


Voltic eye 1/2/3: A targeted electric blast of energy. Covers a wide area.


Drone

Magic crystal 1/2/3: Summon crystals that shoot energy shots of fire/water or elec at opponents



Virus

Jamming punch,Jamming machine punch: Summons some jamming human/em beings that perform a gatling gun attack.


Guardian: Summons a statu, when if struck summons a bolt of lightning on an opponent.


Pirania kiss 1/2/3/X: Summons a series a piranha enemies that attack foes from beneath.


Shark attack 1/2/3/X: Summons a series of shark enemies that attack opponents from underneath.


Noised wizard,Mal wizard 1/2/3/X: Summons a generic malfunctioning wizard Ai that attacks foes from behind with a slash or electric whip attack.


Thunder head 1/2/3/X: Summons a dragon head that strikes opponents with electricity


Ice spin 1/2/3/X: Throws a water element penguin that bounces around the terrain damaging opponents.


Arach attack 1/2/3/X: Summon spiders on the terrain that attack opponents.


Puff blast 1/2/3/X: Fires fluffy ball like enemies. Sometimes heals geo or makes him invisible/intangible.

Ice meteor 1/2/3,wood meteor, severe meteor, Extinction meteor, White meteor, Silver meteor, platinum meteor: Various cards that summon meteors from the sky to bombard opponents. Some have properties like ice or wood.



Time bomb 1/2/3/X, break time bomb: Giant bombs that explode based on a 3 second timer.


Thunder ball 1/2/3: Summons a slow moving electric ball on the ground that stuns opponents it hits.


Vulcan seed 1/2/3/X: A flurry of  wood element seeds that hit a wide area.


Moai fall 1/2/3: Summons giant rock heads to fall onto opponents


Typhoon dance, tornado dance, Hurricane dance: Spinning attack that create large damaging gusts of wind.


Mummy hand 1/2/3/X: summons a hand that shocks and stuns opponents


Squall 1/2/3/X: Creates a damaging tornado


Smile coin 1/2/3/X: summons a torrent of coins to damage opponents.


Flash strike 1/2/3/X: A series of electrified punches that blind foes.



Misc attacks

Syncro hook 1/2/3/X: A powerful punch attack that deals damage to all opponents of the same type on the battlefield.


Black hole 1/2/3/X, darkness hole: A black hole-ish void that instant kills all foes on the field in an largely weakened state.


Whistle: Pulls opponents towards Geo. Can also remove barriers and shields.


Bombalizer: Causes all inanimate objects on the battlefield to spontaneously explode


Jet ski 1/2/3:A powerful dashing body slam attack. Also leaves behind a layer of ice whenever Geo travels.


Snowball 1/2/3/X: A card that creates a large snowball the rolls over opponents.


Green carpet,blue carpet, purple carpet: Carpets rolled out into opponents as an attack. They change the terrain to grass, ice or poison bogs respectively.


Atomic mine 1/2/3: A mine set underground that goes off when an opponent steps on it.


Mu technology 1/2/3/X: Shoots energy symbols of Mu. Pierces invis/intangibility, can cause a gravity status effect and gains power based on the amount of holes in the terrain.


Earth thunder 1/2/3/X: Summons an electric ball out of holes in the terrain that damages opponents.


Spin blade 1/2/3/X: A spinning blade used to slice through opponents


Buff

Attack +10/50: Increases the attack power of normal chips


Fire/elec/wood/fire +30: Increases the damage dealt by fire, elec, wood and fire based cards.


Aqua/fire/wood +50 : Increases the attack power of water, fire and wood elemental chips.


Buster max, mac buster: Raises the strength of the megabuster to its maximum level


Warrior soul: Grants max power for the buster and super armor, in exchange for having hp steadily go down due to an hp bug.


Support

Power song: Summons a singing frog. Geo is invincible while it sings.


Recover 10,50,80,120,150,200,300: Various cards that recover damage sustained during a fight.


Barrier, 100, 200, super barrier: A series of energy barriers. They absorb a set amount of damage before going down permanently.


Aura, Life aura: A different set of barriers. They absorb a set amount of damage below a certain threshold, regardless of how many times they get hit. The life aura is based off the aura used by the life virus in the battle network era.


Mu barrier: A barrier that can black single hits and regenerates after some moderate movement. If it’s hit by an attack with the “breaking” element it get permanently disabled.


Invisible: Makes Geo invisible and intangible, even to those who would normally be able to see or interact with beings on the EM spectrum.


Quick/normal/slow gauge: Increases, normalizes or slows the pace in the in game custom gauge refills.


Mega boost: Allows Geo to become invincible for 12 seconds, while also being able to pierce foes who are invisible or intangible.


Status

Quake song: A song that can be played by a summoned EM entity that prevents opponents from moving.


Trip song: A song that can be played by a summoned EM entity that causes confusion in opponents.


Panic cloud: Causes opponents standing on neutral terrain to gain a panic status effect.


Paralyzer plus: Adds a stunning effect to a chosen battle card.


Gravity plus: adds a gravity effect to a chosen battle card


Poison pharaoh: Creates a giant totem that shoots out puffs of poision gas, slowly draining opponents of HP


Mirror's edge: A mirror that drains the HP of anything standing in front of it. It can be destroyed with enough physical force or with a “breaking” element attack.



Counter/Reprisal 

Fokx-fu 1/2/3: essentially a battle card that allows Geo to perform a replacement jutsu, leaving a stuffed fox to in his place when being attacked.

Anti-sword: Auto damages an opponent is they try to use a sword based attack on Geo.


Spirit fury: A card that auto damages an opponent if they use an elemental attack.


Poison apple: A trap that auto damages opponents if they use recovery items


Double cross: Damages an opponent if they use a summon


Giga mine:Damages an opponent if they use a battle card designated as a “giga card”.

Area eater, divide line, double eater: Various cards that allow Geo or Omega to erase sections of the space in front of them.


Panel reformat: Restores the terrain Geo is fighting on to a neutral state.


Holy panel: creates a small section of land or a panel, where damage for those standing on it is reduced by half.


Summon/Navi chips

Cards that grant the ability to summon other em biens or entities to perform attacks on Geo’s behalf. It’s actually unclear whether the em beings summoned are in fact the real ones, or recreations based on data collected during fights. Though given you can use the cards associated with a certain character against said characters in fights, it’s probably  the latter. In game typically these summons only perform a single attack or support move, before disappearing. Though in media with similar attacks from the previous series battle network these summons could hang around for a few seconds before dissipating.

Galaxy advances Advances

Galaxy advances are similar to program advances in battle network, but much less unique. They allow Geo to combine various of his normal cards into more powerful cards that are either harder to find individually in game, or are more powerful than their standard counterparts. Transformations

Star break

A transformation system given to Geo in the 1st game by the admins of the 3 satellites servers surrounding earth, otherwise known as the 3 sages of planet AM. It allows him to draw upon their power to change himself into a multitude of alternate forms, based on the admins abilities. Each star break has its own weaknesses, which will cancel the transformation if exploited.

Fire Leo

A fire based transformation based on the admin Leo kingdom. It’s weak to water based attacks, and its charge shot is a flamethrower based attack called flame burner. The form has some light super armor and its SFB is atomic blazer, a giant dbz-ish beam of fire energy expelled from the megabuster.



Ice Pegasus

An ice/water based transformation based on admin Pegasus magic. It weak to electric attacks, and its charge shot is an ice based attack called ice slash that freezes opponents solid if it hits. I can also heal Geo as long as he is in contact with an icy surface, and gives him the ability to fly or avoid direct contact with surfaces underneath of him with the float shoes ability.  It’s big bang attack Magicians freeze, a powerful explosion of ice energy under an opponent that encases them in a small boulder of ice.



Green dragon

A grass/wood base transformation based on the admin dragon sky. It’s weak to fire based attacks and it’s charge shot is a splurge of razor sharp leaves from the buster called woody shot. The form guards against status effects and heels Geo when he stands on grassy panels. It’s SFB is a giant tornado of wind and razor sharp leaves that form around GEo while spinning.




Tribe on

A transformation system used in star force 2. It’s gain via absorbing one of several “ooparts” from the ancient hyper advanced EM civilization Mu. These being the sword of zerker, the rock of suarian and the star of ninja. Each oppart causes a specific transformation, being thunder zerker, Fire saurian and wood ninja. Each tribe on form has a new charge shot, various peripheral support abilities, and can utilize a super attack called a link force big bang. Each form also has a specific weakness, which when exploited, cancels the form. Geo can also combine the effects multiple opparts to gain a variety of combination forms. The result of combining all 3 of them being a form called tribe king.

Thunder Zerker

An electricity element tribe on form. It increases the strength of elec based attacks, and comes with a giant electric sword used to perform a slashing electric projectile charge shot with. It has an ability called train combo, which allows for rapid use of battle cards without flinching. It’s LFB is called thunder bolt blade, and consists of several powerful swipes of the electric blade, followed by a downward swipe that causes an explosion. The weakness of the form is wood.


Zerker Saurian: The zerker form combined with the Saurian form. The element of the form changes to fire, and the weak to water. The form retains the train combo and powered up electric attacks of thunder zerker, and also increases the power of fire based cards. The form also has super armor, and the charge shot is a fire based projectile called Dino cannon. It’s LFB is called Vanishing blazer, a powerful dbz-ish fire/electric based energy beam.

Zerker Ninja:The zerker form combined with the ninja form. The element of the form changes to wood, and the weakness to fire. The form retains the train combo and powered up electric attacks of thunder zerker, and also increases the power of wood based cards. Fire Saurian 

A dinosaur based transformation with a fire element and weakness to water. The form can charge battle cards for additional power, has super armor and increases the strength of fire based cards. It’s charge shot is Dinno cannon, a powerful explosive fire projectile. The LFB is Genocider blazer, which is a fire based dbz-ish energy beam.


Saurian Zerker:T he saurian form combined with the zerker  form. The element of the form changes to electricity, and the weakness to wood. The form retains the super armor, card charge ability and powered up fire  attacks of fire saurian, and also increases the power of electricity based cards. The charge shot is a electricity based swords projectile slash.  It’s LFB is called Vanishing blazer, a powerful dbz-ish fire/electric based energy beam.

Saurian NinjaThe saurian form combined with the ninja form. The element of the form changes to wood, and the weakness to fire.. The form retains the super armor, card charge ability and powered up fire  attacks of fire saurian, and also increases the power of wood based cards. The charge shot is a shuriken attack called shinobi shuriken and the form also allows Geo to counter opponents with a wood based sword attack after using a body double.  It’s LFB is called emma gale garison, which splits him into multiple body clones that shoots tons of shuriken and fire/wood elemental shuriken.


Wood Ninja

A ninja based transformation with a wood element and weakness to fire. The form also allows Geo to counter opponents with a wood based sword attack after using a body double. Can charge normal battle cards to auto lock and pierce invis enemies(those that are intangible). It increases the power of wood based cards, and has a shrunken projectile charge shot called shinobi shuriken. It’s LFB is Demon flurry a move where Geo will split into multiple clones that will rain shuriken down on an opponent.


Ninja Zerker: The ninja form combined with the zerker form. The element of the form changes to electricity, and the weakness to wood.. The form retains the ability to counter opponents with a wood based sword attack after using a body double, to charge normal battle cards to auto lock and pierce invis enemies(those that are intangible). The combination form of the 3 opparts. It a super powerful form with no element and no weaknesses, but it only last a limited amount of time. It has multiple attributes of other tribe on forms. It has the ability to counter opponents with a wood based sword attack after using a body double, to charge normal battle cards to auto lock and pierce invis enemies(those that are intangible).It can use the train combo rapid card usage ability and can charge cards for additional damage. Has super armor, and doubles all card attacks. It also increases the power of wood, electricity and fire cards. The charge shot is called over slash and  fires 3 consecutive sound waves of fire, electricity and water elementality. Its LFB is called  Czar Delta Breaker, a wave of energy that travels down in a column fashion comprised of electric, fire and wood elements.


Rouge tribes

Rouge tribes are variants of standard tribe ons, obtained after deleting all brother brands and collecting objects called indie proofs. These forms get rid of the elemental card power boost and form elements. In place the forms get a continually regenerating shield called the mu barrier and increases the strength of sword cards.



Noise abilities

Noise

Noise is a kind of EM wave waste product, similar to that of static. It’s gets produced by all technology in the star force series in minute amounts, but particularly became more prominent after the invention of wizards and real waves in the 3rd game. Noise can have a variety of effects on the environment, em beings, and technology. For example in large concentrations they can create portals in space to “noise waves” that can be used as pocket dimensions or wormholes to distant locations. Though these noise wave entrances are normally invisible even to EM beings, and require the VG hunter to detect.


 They can cause machinery to malfunction in large concentrations, basically destroying them like an EMP. They can also cause fatigue or weakness in EM beings and in extreme cases lead to bouts of insanity. Though some EM beings can release noise through fighting. In high enough concentrations noise can also for a crystalline substance known as crimson.




Noise change

A transformation system given to Geo in the 3rd game. It’s activated via a set of ability programs, called the Ace or Joker program. It allows Geo to absorb noise from his surrounding environment, and turn it into power source. Said noise levels in Geo’s environment can be raised via making direct hits on an opponent or through combos, and will also lower steadily at any point where he’d not performing any actions needed to raise it. 


In game noise levels are measured in %, from 0-999. Geo noise forms only have certain innate abilities at noise levels below 50%, being in a state called form out. They only gain the full repertoire of their abilities, which include an element, charge shot and a super attack called NFB after noise levels reach 50%. If a form is hit by its weakness it will revert to the form out stage and noise levels will go down to 0%. Additionally if Geo can raise noise levels to over 100% he gains the ability to naturally pierce invisible/intangible opponents and cards that have pulling/pushing effects do the opposite of their normal effect. Some noise forms have ability waves attached to them.



Libra Noise

A form based on the EM being Libra scales. In form out stage it grants additional damage to fire and water based cards. In vibrant  noise form the elementality turns to null, and the weakness to “breaking”. The charge shot becomes side spread, a energy blasts that spreads to the side of opponents it hits. It’s NFB is called meteor light barrage, a barrage of meteor like energy spheres that can piece invisible/intangible opponents.


Corvus Noise

A form based on the EM being jack Corvus. In form out stage it grants additional damage to fire  based cards. In vibrant  noise form the elementality turns to fire, and the weakness to water. The form is also immune to effects similar to the dark hole battle cards, cannot receive HP bugs, and has an immunity to poison from poison panels in game. The charge shot becomes shocking flare, a flamethrower like attack that induces a “gravity” status effect, which makes an opponent unable to move from a specific location.. It’s NFB is called atomic blazer, a powerful wind/fire elemental fire beam that removes an opponent's energy shields of auras if it hits.


Cancer Noise

A form based on the EM being cancer bubble. In form out stage it grants additional damage to water  based cards. In vibrant  noise form the elementality turns to water, and the weakness to electricity. Water based cards also entrap opponents in large bubbles if they hit . The charge shot becomes bubble shot, a water based explosion that traps opponents in a bubble. Its NFB is called dyna wave, a series of giant tidal waves emanating from a series of kicks.


Gemini Noise:

A form based on the EM being Gemini Spark. In form out stage it grants additional damage to electric cards. In vibrant  noise form the elementality turns to electricity, and the weakness to wood. All sword based cards also paralyze a foe if they hit. The charge shot becomes rocket knuckle, which fires a giant fist that stuns opponents on contact. Its NFB is called thunder bolt blade, a series of electric sword slashes that ends with a massive explosion.



Ophiuca Noise:

A form based on the EM being Queen Ophiuca. In form out stage it grants additional damage to wood cards. In vibrant  noise form the elementality turns to wood, and the weakness to fire. Non elemental cards cause a confusion status effects if they hit, and the form is immune to blind or confusion. The charge shot becomes wood shot, which fires a wood based explosion that cover the surrounding area with grass. It’s NFB is called elemental cyclone, a giant wind/wood elemental tornado that removes energy barriers and auras from an opponent..



Cygnus Noise

A form based on the EM being cygnus wing. In form out stage it grants additional damage to non elemental cards, as well as the hovering float shoes/air shoes ability. In vibrant  noise form the elementality turns to null, and the weakness to sword. Wind cards increase in power. The charge shot becomes feather vulcan, a barrage of energy pellets hit behind the opponent they’re aimed at. Its NFB is called meteor light barrage, a barrage of meteor like energy spheres that can piece invisible/intangible opponents.


Taurus Noise

A form based on the EM being Tarus flame. In form out stage it grant's super armor and increased strength to fire based cards. In vibrant  noise from the elementality turns to fire, and the weakness to water. The charge shot becomes heat cannon, which fires a fire  based explosion that covers a large area of impact. It’s NFB is called atomic blazer, a powerful wind/fire elemental fire beam that removes an opponent's energy shields of auras if it hits..



Virgo Noise:

A form based on the EM being queen Virgo. In form out stage it increases the strength of water cards, and has immunity to freezing or bubbling. In vibrant  noise from the elementality turns to water, and the weakness to electricity. The charge shot becomes aqua wave, a wide powerful lice of water energy. It’s NFB is called atomic blazer, a powerful wind/fire elemental fire beam that removes an opponent's energy shields of auras if it hits. Its NFB is called dyna wave, a series of giant tidal waves emanating from a series of kicks.


Crown Noise

A form based on the EM being crown thunder. In form out stage it increases the strength of electric cards, and increases the chance of drawing mega cards in game. In vibrant  noise from the elementality turns to electric, and the weakness to wood. Non-elemental card can blind foes on hit. Also the charge shot becomes plasma shot, a powerful electric bolt that stuns opponents on contact. It’s NFB is called thunder bolt blade, a series of electric sword slashes that ends with a massive explosion.


Wolf Noise

A form based on the EM being wolf woods. In form out stage it increases the strength of sword cards, and increases the restoration of the custom guage in game. In vibrant  noise from the elementality turns to wood, and the weakness to fire. Wood cards also gain additional power and auto lock on. Also the charge shot becomes shcok claw, a wide hitting wood/sword slash attack.  It’s NFB is called elemental cyclone, a giant wind/wood elemental tornado that removes energy barriers and auras from an opponent..


Rogue Noise

A form based on the EM being Rogue. In form out stage it increases the strength of sword cards, and periodically forms a weak barrier called mu rejection. In vibrant  noise from the elementality turns to null, and the weakness to none. He also has immunity to lock on, can add a paralyzer effect to non elemental chips and his charge shot gains double attack power. The form has no NFB. Geo also cannot use if while having formed brother bands with others(IRL at least). The form has some individual parts, hat also add other abilities like


Crest of Mu: Proof of the Mu technology that is received by attuning to Rogue Noise. This seal has been carved into particular EM Wave Beings with unique abilities, such as destroying opponents with lock-on-sight and regenerating EM Wave barriers that even the most cutting-edge scientific techniques cannot recreate.

"Rogue" Protector: A protector bearing Rogue's emblem, this is capable of absorbing only Rogue Noise from the environment while excluding all other noise types.

Visualize Predictor: Mega Man's Visualize Visor after having undergone further evolution by attuning to Rogue Noise. Can confirm the "flow" of EM Wave Energy within viruses and EM Wave Bodies, and can severely damage enemies by using sword-type Battle Cards to sever this flow.


Multi noise

A multi-noise form is a combination of a base noise and a secondary noise form on top of it. Abilities of both forms are combined, the charge shot, form element and NFB are changed to the second noise form. Using a multi noise form raises noise levels to 50% and brings Geo up to a vibrant noise level. Though getting hit by a weakness will cancel the combination and revert the noise form to normal with 0% noise. Rouge noise cannot be used for multi noise.



Finalized noise

The ultimate noise forms under Geo’s disposal. They can generally be activated after noise levels reach around 200%, and lowers ambient noise to 0%.The forms also allow Geo to draw power from the “meteor server” located at the center the noise asteroid meteor G. When in this form Geo gains access to various powerful rare cards the player would normally have trouble gaining during normal gameplay, as well as access to the noise force bangs of all other normal noise forms. These cards increase in rarity and power as Geo’s re increases noise levels, going from level 1 to 11.As a result of added power of finalized noise, they can only work for minimum periods of time before expiring and reverting Geo to a standard noise form with 0% noise. The forms can be taken for longer periods time and more quickly in extreme circumstances, such as the ending sequence of SF3.




Red Joker

A powerful transformation with heavy armor, supposedly strong enough to survive nuclear explosions. Locked on cards do double damage, Geo’s buster does max damage, he gains super armor, immunity towards all status ailments in the starforce series, but losses the charge shot ability. The NFB is called Red gaia erasure, a giant breaking element read laser attack expounded from Geo’s hands and then from the two shoulder pads on his transformed state. This NFB is similar to an attack used by the enemy red jocker, which can shatter a human or em body into EM particles that spread across the atmosphere. The victims of this attack are still somewhat conscious and can be restored under specific circumstances where their fragments are recovered however.


Meteor Noise Generator: Two different types of inexhaustible Noise generators that operate continuously. Because these devices generate the Noise that forms the basis for Red Joker's abilities, he can work at full power in any condition or circumstance. Besides working as a generator, it can also irradiate Noise for autonomous attacks and access the Meteor G system.

R.J. Control Gear: An extremely powerful device that has been incorporated into the Joker Program. Its power is devoted exclusively to the suppression and control of Noise, allowing R.J. to narrowly maintain self-control in the face of the Noise created by its generators.

Shooting Star Emblem: This is the form taken by Geo Stelar's Shooting Star Pendant after having undergone EM Wave conversion. The pendant was a gift from his father. This emblem serves as proof that even after synchronizing with the Satellite Server, Geo Stelar maintains his identity and is still able to control his actions.

Meteor Noise Irradiator: A weapon that collects Noise transferred from the generator and attacks by shooting it out all at once. By combining the destructive power of the Noise with nuclear fusion energy derived from irradiated Noise, this device can create large-scale explosions that engulf large groups of enemies in flames.

Cloud of Crimson: This armor is formed from the generator-created noise that has undergone crystallization. Creates an iron wall against all external attacks and destroys any status-altering program thrown at it in its whirlpool of Noise.


NFB comparison to dread laser


Black Ace:

A powerful transformation with focused on speed and supposedly having “universe” level analytical abilities. Locked on cards do double damage, has the hovering air/float-shoes ability, has auto lock on abilities, a quick filling custom gauge in game, max power for the buster shot and a lack of a charge shot.. The NFB is called black end galaxy, a giant black hole projectile that engulfs opponent, before Geo slashes it in half with an energy sword causing an explosion that causes a gravity status effect in the opponent. The attack has a sword/wind element.


Noised-Wing Vernier: A vernier that ejects high-density noise. This piece serves to enable unrestricted high-speed aerial movement and peripheral noise increase through noise-spraying, which allows Black Ace (who draws his primary sources of energy from noise) to create an environment where he can fully display his capabilities.

B.A. Wave Analyzer: This analyzer has the same basic functions as that of Acid Ace. However, while Acid's analyzer conducts its analysis autonomously, Black Ace's analyzer can access Meteor G and utilize that server's massive capacity and resources. Because this analyzer can immediately compute any large-scale analytic calculations, it can delete even unknown enemies instantaneously.

Shooting Star Emblem: This is the form taken by Geo Stelar's Shooting Star Pendant after having undergone EM Wave conversion. The pendant was a gift from his father. Noise-Wave Devourer: A wavetooth Device that has undergone adjustments that enable it to collect even greater quantities of Noise. Both of the collection points, located on Black Ace's shoulders and the sensor lines covering his body, work exclusively to collect and absorb environmental noise into his body.

Crimson Regulator: This part can both create and regulate Crimson, a type of crystallized Noise. It can form various types of Crimson, which can then be used as weapons. Additionally, it can even create things like black holes by compressing massive amounts of Noise to generate special super-powered Crimson.

The final boss of SF3. Obviously since Geo fights and beats it he scales.


Misc



Weakness

Contrary to popular belief Geo is not invincible just because he has the ability to phase through solid objects due to be an EM being. As every attack, ability and enemy in the star force series is based around using EM waves, logically any weapon from outside universes that utilizes EM radiation or can act on EM waves should be able to harm him. This of course includes electricity, magnets, light, energy based attacks or other energy constructs. This is supported by the fact that the satalight police in the star force anime series are shown having various tractor beams for collection of em viruses, have several em based energy weapons effective against them, and that normal people are able to use battle cards to attack em viruses without having become em beings directly. Geo was also not immune to the data based opponents in operation shooting star. 


It’s also shown or heavily implied that other physical forces can affect them in high enough concentrations, as Sirus was going to use a black hole to destroy planet FM and its inhabitants, and in the anime Andromeda destroyed planet Am and it’s inhabitants  triggering a massive explosion. This is also true for extreme changes in temperature, as the EM snakes used by Queen ophuici and Geo during a level in the 3rd game, specifically reference temperature affecting their ability. Finally again in the anime Omega is at one put at risk of being absorbed by the entity le mu, meaning energy absorption can also be used against an EM beings energy body.


EM wave being also can have their abilities countered via several specific methods. They can’t get through energy Barriers designed to repel EM radiation and can be contained in capsules that seal EM waves in. The ability to em wave change can also be negated via specifically tailored fields of EM interference, and it’s impossible to change wave frequencies normally when underwater, preventing teleportation.
