Background
450 years ago, Vlad Dracula defended the honor of Eastern European Christianity from the Ottoman Turks. His quest for righteousness eventually turned into a conquest of power. He would lead thousands to their deaths. Eventually, he was captured and sentenced to execution. At his final moments, he would consume blood… seemingly turning into a vampire.
As the centuries past, Dracula would become a large threat to the world. It is until Professor Van Hellsing would defeat him in combat. It would end up appearing that he died. But that wasn’t the case. His successor, Arthur Hellsing, would bring Alucard back to turn him into a weapon. Alucard would fight in WW2 alongside Walter against the Nazi threat and Millenium. After that, he was sent back to slumber.
He would be reawoken after committing his life to Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing to kill her uncle (who was targeting her to get the Hellsing fortune). Integra would transform his skillset into transforming the Hellsing Organization into England’s best monster-slaying group. Over the next few decades, Alucard would hunt many vampires and do battle with his rivals at the Vatican.
It was then he found a servant in Seras Victoria, a policewoman whom he turned into a vampire given an unfortunate happenstance. From there, Millennium would resurface sporting Nazi Vampires to destroy the Hellsing Organization and England. The Vatican’s Iscariot elite group would also target them and prove to be Alucard’s greatest rivals.
Alucard would virtually go to war with them, learning more about himself and coming to terms with his bloody past in the meantime. At the Battle of London, Alucard would reconcile his grudges in battle with Alexander Anderson and his former colleague, Walter. The Vatican and Millenium are defeated but not before the Major (leader of the Millenium) plants a nasty surprise in Alucard’s blood: Schrodinger.
The abilities of Schrodinger merges with Alucard’s and he becomes a literal concept of omnipresence. He disappears from physical existence. It takes him thirty years to cast aside his former and other lives to return back to his master, Integra Hellsing. Thus, his story concludes (as far as the Hellsing story is concerned).
Weapons & Equipment
.454 Casull
The Casull is a semi-automatic magnum pistol, based on two pre-WW1 handgun designs by Colt: the M1903 and M1905 pistols (the early versions of the M1911). The gun weighs approximately 6 kg unloaded and has a magazine capacity of six .454 Casull cartridges. The bullets are steel bullets coated with melted Silver from a Christian Cross (Manchester). Typically kills vampires in a single shot.
Jackal
The Jackal is a massive pistol made especially for Alucard. It has a length of 39cm (16 in), a weight of 16kg (35lbs), and a black gunmetal construction, and uses massive 13mm explosive rounds. The words "Jesus Christ is in Heaven now" are engraved upon it. The Jackal fires a huge, armor-piercing, 13mm hollow point bullet. The rounds are jacketed with a "casing" of blessed Macedonian silver and features an explosive tip containing a charge of pre-blessed mercury. However, the 13mm round's size limits the Jackal's magazine capacity to six rounds.
Powers & Abilities
Vampiric Abilities
Superhuman Physiology- Vampires in Hellsing are physically more competent than any human on Earth.
Immortality- Due to his vampiric nature, Alucard cannot really die of old age and has lived for centuries.
Regeneration- Alucard can repair his body in mere seconds even after a myriad of damage. It’s more than a healing factor and can repair any amount of damage so as long as he has blood and souls to access.
Third Eye- An enhanced visual and mental state of mind. It allows vampires to see several times better than humans and can even see through illusions. Essentially acting as a sixth sense.
Intangibility- Alucard can phase through solid surfaces.
Telepathy- Able to speak in the minds of his minions.
Mind Control / Hypnosis- Alucard can not only listen in on the thoughts of others but also control people’s minds through a glance. Typically uses the latter ability on humans.
Telekinesis- Exactly as it says. Can use this to throw about living and nonliving entities. Also does this with blood.
Shapeshifting- His human appearance is optional. He can transform into a manner of people and appearances at a whim. He has his standard Alucard-fit, Vlad Dracula, and his little girl form (he used it in WW2).
Illusions- Can cast illusions that don’t affect actual reality. Should the illusion be damaged, it may retract back to its original form. Alucard can choose to release it whenever he wants. Zorin lost hold of her illusion after being grazed by Seras’s bullet, could be that Alucard has that same limit. Unclear.
Fog Creation- ...can create large fogs...
Blood Consumption & Manipulation- he’s a vampire… he can drink blood and turn virgins of the opposite sex into vampires. But this blood empowers his abilities tenfold. Without it, he’ll be left in a comatose state. After consuming a large amount of blood from a deceased opponent, they can become one of his familiars (See Below)
Shadow Manipulation- Can manipulate shadows into beings that can attack others.
Release States
Alucard’s Control Art Restrictions are devastating. Due to his overwhelming power, he has limiters on his strength that he has to release himself. The lower the number, the more powerful the form. He even changes appearances based on the restriction that he releases.
Levels 6 - 2: States that improve his power to deal with ghouls and low-level vampires.
Level 1: For more higher-level vampires.
Level 0: At this level, Alucard releases ALL of the souls in his being to create an army straight from hell. He reverts into his Count appearance. But this is releasing all of his power at once. He can be killed permanently in this state.
Familiars
After consuming their blood and then their soul, Alucard has access to the victim’s abilities, souls, experience, and knowledge. These are his familiars. He also sheds these familiars as he needs to regenerate. He has over 3 million in total. He has the following familiars:
Ghouls & Humans
Ottoman Turk & Vlad Dracula’s Army- the armies from centuries ago… even includes their horses...
Baskerville- Demonic shadow hellhounds that devour anything. What’s devoured are not turned into familiars.
Dandy Man & Rip Van Winkle- Literally them (same abilities and all) just under Alucard’s control.
Schrodinger- An endgame power. It gives him the ability to be everywhere and nowhere: omnipresence. However, if he has any other familiars, he cannot retain a sense of identity and fades from existence. To use Schrodinger, he has to kill every other familiar and discard his other abilities. In fact, this took him 30 years to do.
Feats
Strength & Attack Potency
Vampires in Hellsing are naturally more physically-able than any human to live.
Capable of wielding the Jackal and Casull guns, which are virtually hand cannons.
Jackal craters a wall.
Telekinetically moves the bloodshed from the Battle of London to his person.
Should be superior to other Vampires in the series (see Scaling)
Speed & Reactions
Vampires in Hellsing are naturally more physically-able than any human to live.
Dodges bullets & weapons, and skills that are either as fast or faster than bullets.
Could keep up with the Dandyman and his illusions.
Durability & Stamina
Has insane regenerative properties.
Regenerated from gunshots, rockets, explosions, skewing, decapitation, the works…
Potentially tanked diving into the HMS Eagle with a fighter jet going Mach 3.2
Does not go down immediately to holy weapons, though they still prove effective.
Fought plenty of battles / wars for hours on end.
Skill & Intelligence
Defeated the likes of Luke Valentine, Dandy Man, Rip Van Winkle, Alexander Anderson, & Walter C. Dornez
Vlad Dracula and Alucard alike commanded entire armies against Millenium, the Vatican, and other invading forces.
Figured out The Captain’s true identity at a glance.
Annihilated the Vatican and Millenium armies at the Battle of London single handedly.
Should theoretically have the battle experience of all his familiars.
Scaling
Should be superior / on par to the below:
Dandy Man cutting a part helicopters
Zorin and co. surviving a war blimp crash.
Weaknesses
His regeneration is busted, but it doesn’t mean he cannot be killed. After Level 0, his heart is susceptible to being pierced and destroyed. Should that happen, it’s game over.
Alucard is not weak to holy weapons but he is vulnerable to it.
Tends to wear his opponents stamina by taking advantage of his regeneration factor. That means he tends to just sit around and take hits before doing anything.
His ego has led him to defeat a few times over.
Schrodinger required he take 30 years to kill over 3 million souls in his body to use. Should he have another familiar in his body, he’ll poof out of existence.
